'Twelve up, four down' |
The most successful piece. I like the way it completely changes as one moves round it. There is an obvious suggestion of a clothes horse, but I think the intelligent viewer can get over that. I want it to be mathematical, the viewer contemplating the various shapes made as it is looked through, perhaps some memory of Plato and 'Divine Mathematics'. Ideally, I see it larger, in metal on a base, so that one is looking through it rather than down. |
